Shasta rebuild
Keep up the good work. We had to restore/rebuild our 1990 HiLo Classic. I know it can be done and enjoyed for many years to come.

Today's rebuild "the Floor" it's almost all re floored need to do the trim work still . And I need to get replacement floor bases for the table. I also put the end on the Kitchen Counter and re located the fire extinguisher to there (better access then the original location next to the chair)
More floor tomorrow and maybe finish up some wall paneling too.
Thanks for reading
Ken

More good luck for me. I needed a table floor mount and was just about ready to order one. but a co worker was hauling a load of "scrap metal" today and there on the top of the truck load was a table mount and the floor mount. I guess I'm buying him coffee. Needless to say my table is now installed

Did some work in the bedroom area the last few days started with paneling , then added some ceiling boards
Then added the closet , cabinet and Valance
Just have to replace the light with a recessed fixture due to my stupidity and a closet door.

I love a good project. Sounds like you were crotch deep in this one. It looks fantastic. What was the biggest hassle you ran into while rebuilding this bad boy? I keep coming back and looking at the pics. Great stuff!

The biggest hassle on the project has been the funding. Extra money these days is a bit hard to come by. Other then that the lack of carpentry skills and never having tried doing this before, at least I have 20 years or so as a diesel mechanic.

Our '87 had a 4 inch memory foam. I bought another and laid it on top of the old one. Super comfortable, but the first time I smacked my head into the edge of the bathroom door, because it wouldn't open all the way, is when the razor knife came out and I hacked it off. The cover that came with it just tucked underneath.
