RV furnace

My furnace is an older hydro flame 8531-II. the gas valve is not functioning so I was going to order a new one. But it appears that part number 31155 is no longer available. Does anyone know if the gas valves are more or less the same? I found one that looks similar except the propane inlet fitting is on the side rather than the back. Mine actually has a couple of fittings that connect to the propane line in the side. So I’m wondering if this alternate part would work.

Atwood/Dometic all use dual solenoid gas valve be they 12K btu rated or 40K btu rated (orifice/burner determine btu ratings)
3 versions were used
31906 ---replaced by 31155
31907 ---replaced by 31155
31908 -----current model furnaces

Might want to check out Suburban SF Series Gas Valve 161122
*Same dual 12VDC .48A just not sure about inlet/outlet thread size/type

Thanks! This is the one I was talking about. Other than the inlet position, it looks identical to mine. I’ll give it a try and see if it works.
