Exclamation RV Parts Nation business

Has anyone had any trouble getting RV parts from this company? I ordered a stainless steel oven hood on September 13th and they still have not shipped it. I have emailed them twice and called to leave two messages as well. They have not replied by email or phone call. Their website says it takes 3-5 days to process an order and if it takes longer, they would contact me. So far, I think I just got ripped off.

For the past 18 months this virus has greatly affect production, and delivery. For example look at the computer chip problems affecting the auto industry and others.
I would continue to wait and trying to contact customer service.

Have ordered from them several times. No issues.

Yep. I had my little version of Just in Time that worked really well as I restored my MH. Last year it fell apart and doesn't look like it will return to 'I want it and I want it now' anytime soon, I've waited up to 3 months for some parts that are RV or chassis specific.

Use a credit card so it's easy to get a refund if there is an actual problem, have a lot of patience. You can bet the manufacturers want to make them and the dealers/vendors want to sell them as badly as you want to receive it.

Something that I believe is related to this issue.

Every day, for the past 45+ years, I view the ocean in the direction of Catalina Island and northward toward Los Angeles. Within the last few months, I can see, every day, two to five large container ships sitting on the horizon. They do not move very often, and when they do, they are replaced by others.

This is something I have never ever seen before and it supports the information about the back up at the ports and the delay in delivery of products from overseas.

Now, the above has nothing to do with the poor customer relations by the company in question or any other business that does not respond to customer issues. I only post it to add information that the backlog of parts is real and patience is needed. How an individual business handles these delays with its customers is really the topic of this thread and it appears the business in question is doing a poor job.
