Shower Pan

Hi i own a 1996 Terry 24m that i am in process of fixing up, we are using this TT on a regular basis and i have a problem with the shower pan of camper. first off me and my wife are not little people so i know i am gonna have to support under the pan to stop the flexing but my problem is this i have looked at a lot of places and with the unique shape of the pan i cant find a replacement, so that means a custom build or repair this one. It is acrylic or plastic and as you can see a repair was attempted by PO but it cracked out from under repair, i would like to repair this one if at all possible so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have had excellent results with using epoxy resin on wood and plastic. You might try using epoxy resin to glue a support piece of 1/2" - 3/4" plywood to the bottom of the pan to provide strength as well as to seal the crack. Be sure to coat both sides and edges of the plywood with the epoxy to make it waterproof. Then coat the bottom of the pan with epoxy and while it is wet attach the plywood. Very strong fix. You can get epoxy resin at most marine stores. Not cheap but a good solution. Even though the crack appears to go into the curved portion of the pan, the epoxy resin is very strong stuff. Might have to provide multiple coats to get a really strong fix at that point.

Look at ppl rv parts they show one like yours for about 140.00. When you install try expanding foam for support underneath just make sure it won't damage the plastic (experiment on the old pan) I have used it under residential tubs with good results and it's light weight. Good luck if you try to repair the old one, may even be cheaper to buy a new one.
