Question Smooth top electric range

Has anyone upgraded to a smooth top electric stove top rather then gas?

Why wouldn't you want to go straight to induction? Better, and more energy efficient. Less waste heat goes into heating the air.

x2 on induction, we been using a portable induction burner for
a year now. We don't use gas at all. Cooks as fast or faster, less heat
goes into the coach, and we've gained a little extra counter space.
