Spare tire lock tool for 2000 HR vacationer

I have a 2000 holiday Rambler vacationer. I am the 3rd owner. The spare tire has a lock on it. The top is round with 4 holes in the top of the round cylinder. The tool is not with the RV. Holiday rambler parts said they have no info on the spare tire carrier so they cannot supply the tool. Any ideas where to find a tool for this lock? How to remove the lock without ruining it?

Welcome to iRV2 .

Sorry your first post is about problems .

I doubt the HR , supplied the lock ; so aftermarket, purchased and installed by the previous owner ; if no visible markings to identify the manufacturer , then cutting it off is probably the only option.

BUT; I you could post a picture , just maybe a member can help.

A good tire store should have a tool that can remove the lock. I had a repair shop 40 years ago and still have a tool set to remove those locks. Check around before cutting.
