Way cool Sarah! We stayed at Starlite Classic Campground in Canon City, CO last fall. They have and continue to restore vintage RVs and then rent them for camping.

I think they have one like what you saw. http://starliteclassiccampground.com/trailers.html

Whoa! That Bailey does look really similar, Dave.

I LOVE Canon City; we usually stay in the campground out near Royal Gorge. (Our kids were bummed to hear when Buckskin Joe folded.) Next time we go that way we'll check out the Starlite Classic Campground.

I was in Bisbee, AZ a few years ago and found a RV Park that also has a lot of vintage rv's including a yacht he was working on. These are also for rent in place. He claims to have the original Lucy and Ricky trailer from the movie there. It did look like it. Anyone else been there.

Did you get any photos, Joe? Do you remember the name of the RV Park? Maybe I can google it.

EDIT: I think this is it! http://www.theshadydell.com/ Looks like a great place!! Apparently they no longer have RV campsites, though. Thanks.

Starlite Classic CG is on the road to the gorge. The bridge and park will reopen in May/June. The fire did a lot of damage, but that is the way they revive.

It's been a several years since we were there last; that was back during our "rent an RV" days. We had planned to go last year but the fires changed our plans.

I remember that we rented a van and drove up to Monarch Pass so the kids could play in the snow. While in the visitor's center, a huge DP towing a Tahoe chugged up to the top of the pass with smoke billowing out of the rear. The DP and the Tahoe burned to the ground before the fire department truck could get to the top of the pass.

The bridge and park were closed but we were able to get into the fire area which was eerily gorgeous.

And the train never stopped running. And then there is Skyline Drive. :-)

You could always stay in the old ones or at the rv park in Bisbee at the mine. And yes I did get pictures but the card is at home while we are snow birding. Check out campgroundreviews.com for this place. If I remember correctly it was on the southside of the main road and on a hill overlooking the town.

I went to "The Shady Dell' and checked out the site I really like the Yacht (x-boater) and then I checked out the 1947 bus and I have that badgeing on the front. It's been hanging on the wall over the work Bench in my garage for the last 20 years. I always thought it was from a bus company.
Cool Campground and cool trailers too.
