Restoring 2002 Fleetwood 39R and need to replace a thermorister, (spelling??,) that is the temperature sensor on wall of coach next to dinette.

Any thoughts on a source for this item?

What you're referring to is a Thermostat .

It controls the A/C and Furnace .

Get the name and model number from the unit and Google it .

There are numerous sources to purchase one from .

Not the thermostat, it works correctly. The item I need is the small brown remote temp sensor that is mounted on the wall and feeds temperature back to thermostat. It is a small item somewhat oval in design and projects from wall about 3/8s of an inch.

Thermistor. Commonly found inside of a heating or cooling box or within a fan cooled power supply.

Me too ! I've never seen one outside the refrigerator !

Yep , learn something new every day , either right or wrong . I've found learning the wrong thing can be more valuable than learning the right thing . It keeps me from repeating my mistakes !

Edison did the wrong thing a thousand times before getting it right.

If you can solder, I used these and rebuilt both of mine.

I got rid of mine altogether since they do such a crappy job of maintaining the temps. I replaced them with battery-operated digital thermostats and the performance difference of the ACs and heater is improved by 200%. Uses the same two wires. Chuck

I was going to suggest same thing $60 is pretty proud of plastic, .30 thermistor and and some wire. I pay way less for probe kit that controls chiller fan speed. I think like $10.
