Geez Popeye. Congratulations. You are THE MAN!!

I did not notice the post count but wow, 5000 and counting. Not going to make any world records I suspect but it is a respectable number for a very interesting topic(s) if you count the TH and Tot'r as separate.

Back in from cleaning up yesterdays prunings. There is now a distinct separation between the mature plum tree and the ornamental crab apple. The crab was shading the plum so the plum was suffering. Now both can be happy for a year or two.

Cooling off outside. Supposed to be rain on Saturday but who knows. From the looks of the weather moving in it could be possible. Of course the probability is in inverse proportion to the desire to get a soaker. Right now any moisture is welcome.

Frank, Good that the roof is done, one more thing off the list. Popeye, 5000, huh, I guess we just don't have anything better to do . Gordon, we too are supposed to get some rain tomorrow, then get cooler, 75* here right now, back to the 50's by the weekend.

Popeye,
I learned early in life not to tick off Mom, whether it was mine or whatever friends house that I was at, so no worries there bro. Good catch on the 5000, I missed it also.
Gordon,
Glad that you are getting all the yard work caught up, so you can enjoy it.
Terry,
Hope that the rain goes away quickly so you can get out to the Tot'r. Looking forward to seeing the compartments on the sides coming to completion.
Frank

So the first time with the TH, (bringing it home) the Tot'r got hot (not enough to do damage) but at the top the warning buzzer just came on and went back off, we crested the hill around 5 MPH, today the temp got to 210* at the top and crested the hill at 25 MPH noticeable difference, what I did notice is when the temp got to 210* the power level dropped as well as the boost level went from 19lbs to 10lbs..............hmmm checked codes after returning, yup one code, a code for "reduced power to match coolant temp" in other words the computer reduced power to keep the engine cooler. BUT the VPM code was NOT there . So what we have to do is check the clutch fan and maybe service the radiator. I think in the fairly near future we might upgrade the radiator and intercooler, with thoughts of adding some more power it'll need it anyway.
Fantastic!!!

I have been following this thread since your purchase of the old 5er. I have never posted but today I will. Fantastic beginning and to what has been done. All I can say is enjoy and thanks for the enjoyable read. I just find I can't leave and my time flies by, but well worth it, just enjoyable.

Good Evening Terry,
Got the sun shade and the awning lights off, cleaned up and put away. Got the front cap washed, polishing compound to clean it up and waxed(Whew), then the front of the 5er washed and waxed. tonite rain, naturally, I can't wash the 5er without it being rained on. Tomorrow will wash the left side and the back cap of course then have to wax it also. Hopefully next year no trees around my spot.
Oh yeah, Rita had Stanley Steemer come in and did the carpet today also, it really looks good.
Bruce,
As I said on Gooodmorning thread, welcome. Glad to have you join in.
Frank
