MK, Thanks! when the rear is done I'm going to move it to a semi perm. location, and extend the legs so I can back the Tot'r in to do the rest of the body work.

Looks like the rain is going to hold off so I'm going in to clear the rear Here's a pic of the battery cover, need to change the fuel tank and finish painting the lower battery box.

Nice touch Terry, looks good. I'm not a fan of all one color, but you make it look good.

We are putting the lights ect back on today and in a couple of days we'll put the bedliner material on and the rear body will be done and I can move forward.

Good Afternoon, Temps hit 90* today . I got all the lights ect back in today, tomorrow I'll finish up the 5th wheel mount plate and start on the trim that goes around the opening, I think I'll be able to lay the bedliner material on Monday and the rear will be done

Glad that the weather is cooperating, and that you are getting things done. I am waiting to see what you have in store for the inside of the Tot'r, or are you going to finish the paint work first?
Frank

Good Morning, MK, Thanks! Frank, I think it'll be a combo, something that I'll jump back and forth to, some will depend on what parts I have on hand, (and the money to buy them with), Like the sides of the coach I need to cut in the windows and whatever other openings, (like the reefer, heaters ect) before I paint. Then the cab needs to be cut open for the pass thru into the coach, and I'm also going to be doing some custom work on the cab, I will be filling the cab markers and putting the lights on the sunviser that I'm building, I'm also doing a bunch of little things to the cab that at first glance you won't notice but when it's all done it comes together, unfortunately it all takes time. Soooo I guess I'll just be jumping all over . Well I got the 5th wheel mounting plate done today, made a channel for all the wires on the rear, it hides them and protects too, now need to epoxy prime it and the deck will be ready to paint. While the 5th wheel was out I serviced it and got it ready to put in after painting the deck. Now to work on the aluminum trim that goes around the 5th wheel mount.

Hi Terry; Will the windows for the Tot'r be coming from the donor trailer? Will you be using the water heater from the TH or getting a new one (or doing an upgrade later, there is something about electronic ignition)?

IMO the most problematic thing will be the pass through. At least if I were doing it - not so much with you doing it.

If you get the pass through and the windows etc cut the inside improvements can be done at leisure.

Hi Gordon, the windows will be coming from a combo of Donor's, I Think I'll be using the WH that I removed from the TH, one I won't be using it as much and also it's smaller, (takes up less room) The pass thru should be no problem, I'm comfortable with doing the metal work, back in the 70's I did a chevy dually 4 door, cutting the rear door sections and building in a sleeper out of the rear of the cab, the customer did long distance trailer hauling, (he delivered travel trailers) that was a little nerve racking, it was a one year old truck. I kinda was thinking that if the outside was done, your right, the inside could be done later when I get the chance, plus in between I'm going to go CAMPING

Yup - throw in a jack knife sofa, porta potty, tv table and easy chair and you are good to go. Oh - and a flat of bottled water.
