Not at all sketchy the frame is 6" rectangle tubing, I've built so many trailers out of these and they all are on tge road still, I have the first one I built over 35 years ago and my son runs it twice a week with his race car. Apparently the one you had was improperly built.

Yes the one I used was not built well. Can’t remember the framing but I know it was not boxed. It was 40 years ago and had my heart set on getting that car and a coworker had the trailer for a late model stock car. Wasn’t up to the extra weight of that B body Mopar.

Chargerman, I remember back in the 60's when we went to the local dirt tracks the car trailer was really REALLY not thought out well, most had the axles welded solid, single axles, just enough to get the car to the track,........ sometimes, LOL

Yeah. After the fact when I looked at the construction (or lack of it) I realized it should have never been on the road. Good luck with your latest project. I don’t mean to imply that you were doing something sketchy.

Good deal Terry! Hopefully they have what you need and can keep you moving on the project.

Lonesome, GeorgieBoy is a good motorhome. From the sounds of your post you seem to have experience with having enough gas in the tank!!!

Total Rebuild

Wheel bearings are not what they used to be (simple) on trucks. Had to replace one on my 2016 GMC 2500 prematurely. Cost about $450 for the part as it is the whole knuckle assy. [emoji15]
