Looks great Terry. Problem is when you go through all of the work and it is looking that good it is hard to part with it. It will make someone a great coach.

Thanks all, I have to be careful what I say here, some wording is not allowed, lots of work but really didn't have plans to s_ _ _ not until Eleanor found the Monaco Knight, now just need to thin the herd sitting doesn't do these any good, and with no plans to use it's time.

Yes there comes a time when there is too much iron around the yard. Keeping it all maintained takes more time than you are able to use the stuff you are using. We are rapidly getting to that point.

Terry,
The old girl looks great. I agree with Gordon, she will make someone a great coach. Best of luck finding someone to give her a good home.

Yes I was glad to say goodbye to one of my diesel pushers. Just the insurance can be tough on the pocket.

Terry/Rail....

Son's project coach is a 98 Freightliner chassis with a 5.9 24 valve. Is that the same motor in your old coach Terry and in Rail's?

The reason I ask is we plan to service it, and I seem to recall a hidden fuel filter? The motor runs well, is dry, no leaks, and oil looks good (gonna change anyway). Only fault found so far is a noisy fan belt.

Hi Lloyd, no mine and Rail's coach have the 8.3 Cummins, Ron's coach has the 5.9 Cummins

My 2003 had the 5.9. Just remember the oil filter is not the same as on the Dodge truck 5.9 engins.
Go to Cummins quickserve with your engine serial number. Same data the dealer looks at. I didn't have the extra fuel filter. The ones I heard about were on the side of the engine.
Check the tensioner pulley on the fan belt they can get noisey.
