Believe it or not we haven't got it out of the trailer, LOL. We're in "wholey crap we've gotta get ready for winter" mode for a couple of weeks. We may have to make one more race in Charlotte, NC me as an extra crew chief and Andy as a driver for another race team, this team has an extra car that they want Andy to run, good equipment, so we're in the negotiation stage, LOL. Then it's tear the car completely apart to send it to the frame shop to get up grades, new rear clip ect, lots of potential changes for next year, one is a New Super Dirt Series that could take us to many tracks all across the northeast.

Lloyd, well it looks like the organization running the show has cancelled the pro stock division, so we won't be going!

Lloyd, yes it would have been a fun and informative trip, Andy has drove a few times for other car owners sorting out cars, the last part of this year has been tough on race cars and teams, constant rain has destroyed track surfaces and when they have races on them lots of attrition, (broken race cars!) And with the price of everything going sky high teams are calling it quits for the remainder of the year. The last race in Pennsylvania we paid 4,25 a gal for diesel and 12.00 a gal for race fuel!!! We spent 250.00 just on race fuel, with the price of everything going so high something has to give, rant over!

I found the TSD card did not give us many benefits. Most times there was a small service station nearby that was 0.20 cheaper than the advertised price on the app.

We found that coming home from Pennsylvania, pulled off at a Pilot, and there was a station right on the exit that was 25 cents cheaper, filled up there then went to pilot, LOL

Gordon, were you using the new Open Roads application to check the prices? The old EFS application prices are no lonnger accurate?

I am not a big fan of small stops, that sell low volume. Some years back I made that mistake on my way to Florida,,, and got a tank full of crap. What I spent on having the tank fulled and cleaned, new filters, and 2 injectors was way more than I would ever save.
