Hi Frank;
Just noticed your signature listing the Malibu. Did you leave Gray Ghost at home?

Gotcha!

Do you need to change the proportioning vale with it?

I have not done a brake disc brake conversion.

Lloyd, yesthe original proportioning valve has a 10 lb residual valve that holds pressure on the drum brakes, otherwise you'd have to pump the brakes each time to get a pedal. So you need a propositioning valve setup for 4wheel disc. Neet part about all this is a lot of these parts are parts I've dealt with on race cars and other projects, it's a fun deal, I should end up with a good system, another thing is the e brake, I have ideas for that too, LOL

Y'all practice up on disc conversions. Then I can get help converting my Tracker rear brakes from drum to disc.

Hi Ron, a quick check on your rear disc brake conversion, not sure on your year but it seems to be doable, there are a few kits out there, it seems that the e brake is the sticky part, but there are some that have done it.

I think a later version of Tracker has rear discs and can be converted. If I decide to go that way I need to do more research. For now I am going with just not needing to stop quickly.
