We made it home. 33 hours of driving. Three break downs. One blown tire. One stop sign scraped down the passenger side.

To say that we are exhausted would be an understatement of epic proportions. HAHA.

Oh no! Sorry to hear about the stop sign scrape. I hope it's minor.
I hope there was no lasting damage from the blown tire.

Glad you got your new coach home. Congratulations.
How did you enjoy driving that drivetrain? MPG's?
Go take a nap!!

Unknown on the MPGs. I'm not even sure I ever got the tank all the way full. The second full day of travel had a massive fuel leak for the first half of the trip...so it's all kind of unreliable data. I know I did 700 miles on a half of a tank. No idea how large the tank is either. I've got a lot of reading to do.

The 8.3 and Allison were fun to drive. Very quiet. Only when the windows were open would we hear the whine of the turbo and the sound of a bus or tractor trailer. It would prompt me to look in the mirrors to see who was passing me...oh wait, that's us making that sound. HAHA.
