There are 2 screws holding the bezel; one for the side marker light, the other on the side of the inner housing. That one is hard to see and access. The turn signal housing has 2 bolts which also hold the bezel.
The headlight housings are held in by 3 spring clips.

DH is changing oil in diesel and genny, then greasing.
I put 3600 on the rebuilt engine so he wanted to change
it before the next trip.

That really looks great. Can you give me any more details on the lock and the installation?

This week new tires added to the rear axel, changed out the black tank leaky dump valve, and repaired the exhaust tail pipe that fell off on my last trip out.

Bad (Swollen) Brake Hoses

Long story short, it was the rubber hydraulic brake lines. I replaced the 3 rear hoses on Saturday, and will do the 2 front lines this week. Also will install new rear pads, as the dragging brakes wore them down to nothing.
Hopefully the brakes will be all sorted out before we head to Texas in a couple weeks.
I've had this happen on several older vehicles. Apparently, most brake fluids absorb water which then cause rubber in the hoses to swell and "apply" the brakes. Luckily you didn't get a brake fire.

I've replaced rubber brake hoses on the those older vehicles with Teflon-lined SS-braid hoses. Does anyone know a source the this type hose for P32's?

According to Chevy, The hoses just get old and swell. There is a clamp at the center of the hoses. When the hose swells here it can not go out, so it swells shut. You apply the brakes and the hydroboost sends brake fluid through the swelled hose at several hundred psi. The fluid goes through the swelled hose under pressure, but when you let off the brakes the swelled hose will not let the fluid return to the master cylinder. The pressure stays in the hose and keeps the brakes applied. Stainless steel hoses are a great replacement if you can find them.

Bauer EM | Bauer Products

It was a bolt in replacement on my 97 CC, just some adjustment. Found it on E-bay for $150.
