We got the Equinox base plate put in to prepare for flat towing. Bought the whole Blue Ox system and now waiting for some warm weather here in MI to get the MH out of storage so we can actually go camping.
New tires come in about a month. Know what we are going to get, where we are going to have them installed at, just waiting on Spring to arrive.

I talked to her ! Told her all i had dreamed of doing and going with her. I hugged her, told her how i had wished i had found her sooner, that i hadn't waited so long, that i knew she would have taken good care of me, like i did her. I told her i wished we could have gotten to Alaska or at least some of the other places out west i dreamed of her taking me, told her i knew she was capable of doing all i needed her to do. I told her my health was going south and she needed a new home, and i promised her she'd do all the things i had promised, then i cried 93 PA DP up for adoption

Blitzkreig,
I wish you had found her sooner, I wish you had had more time to travel, I wish you didn't have to let her go now. I hope you have enough good memories to last you the rest of your days.

Connected my new to me free solar panel to keep the Chassis battery up and ready. Only cost me $20 for a charge controller.

I sold the old RV two weeks ago. It was in better shape than when I bought it, recent tires, roof just re-coated, generator starts on first push of the start button, all oils changed, radiator flushed every other year, chassis lubed every year (3000 miles or so), recent master cylinder, included all the manuals and spare parts (belts, rotor button - cap, plug wires, etc..), new starter on the generator, everything worked. We are going with a travel trailer for the foreseeable future. I was told that the person who bought it is going full time. They got an great deal and I'm sure they will enjoy it. I kinda miss it and I kinda don't. I stayed on top of the servicing and I won't miss that part. But, if we go too long without an RV it will become a problem for us.
I bought a 2000 Chevy Suburban 4x4 with a new engine (5.3). I got it pretty much for the cost of the engine. The driver's seat needed re-upholstering and I had the rear differential rebuilt. Then I changed all the fluids. The transmission was a minor aggravation (messy). I added my brake controller last night. I bought a weight distribution hitch with sway control. I have a transmission cooler and Sumo-super springs that I will do this week. I looked at a brand new Wildwood travel trailer last week but, not sure if I want to go that deep, financially. It was gorgeous with recliners, central air, a super slide, etc.. It weights 6000 pounds. I think that the Suburban should be able to get that down to the beach.

Replaced the standard let the drawer fall out slides with full extension ball bearing slides. Much nicer.
Raised the current rods in the bedroom closets

Thank you.. It is complete, have been using it for over 2 years. Making improvements/changes as we see the need. Camped in it over 100 nights and it's very comfy for us 2. Not a fancy rig, I cook outside so there's no actual kitchen (for example) but can cook inside if need to.
2 split ACs for OTR use.
2 heaters for OTR use.
5Kbtu ac in the rear, 8 in the front for parked use.
Diesel furnace.
Elec fireplace.
TV/VD/XM.
2 recliners.
3X4ft shower.
4.5cf res. fridge.
Solar/gen etc
Click on the pic to see an album...or several!
