I replaced all of the clearance lights and side marker lights with LED.
I found what seemed to be a great deal on Amazon for 14 lights for $30. 7 red and 7 Amber. Now they all work and I don't have to change any bulbs.

"Sweetie" sits calmly in the flat space I built for her next to lower portion of our lower driveway... waiting for play time to again happen!

Started up her 454 engine and genset. Let em run for a timed 60 minutes to get em good and warm. Shifted through all gears several times to keep trany fluid circulated. Pumped the brakes for good measure. Ran fridge on AC and propane. Lit all burners on stove and in oven. Ran heater to get interior warm. Ran AC for a test. Turned on water pump and squirted water out kitchen sink faucet. Checked all batts with multimeter before, during and after running engines

Everything checks out A-OK!!!

Every two months - or sooner; for an hour's time: It's good to run all portions of a sitting, dormant RV... keeps her "juices" flowing, appliances un-stuck and engine interiors from establishing rust.

Gives you a chance to kabitz with her too - LOL

Dim headlights

I know this has been discussed a number of times, but I have a 2002 Bounder 33R. Last year, I replaced the scratched and fogged headlight housings but am not pleased with the replacements. They seem more dim than the originals.
The headlights that Fleetwood used for these was Ford 93-96 headlights. I am wondering if the projector style replacements will put our more light... or do I just need to replace the bulbs with HID or LED units?
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Go online and research bulb options? I was not aware until recently how many options in brightness/ $$ we have in both Halogen bulbs or sealed beam bulbs. LED is NOT the only alternate

I don't know about aftermarket products but DW has a 2014 Caddy SRX with projector type lights and they are terrible. The plastic of the projector lens turned cloudy and even after replacing the bulbs with brighter ones they are too dim. She has to use her bright lights all the time, this upsets some folks but she has to see.

Sprayed the bay door electric locks with contact cleaner so all 7 will work not just the six I had working. Green corrosion was evident on each connector.
Cleaned them as best I could before spaying.
Will try again in a few weeks again to check status.

Had a replacement full width skid roller built and installed it under the rear of my low slung Teton Homes 5th wheel. The original departed the vehicle somewhere east of San Antonio on I10. The replacement is much better (stronger) than the old one and prevents any damage to the rear under side of the chassis.

Bathroom

Doing some small interior upgrades while its cold and rainy outside.

Installed a much needed bathroom lavatory faucet, from Dura Faucet, DF-PL620L-SN. The original one still worked and did not leak, but was too just short for really being able to washing hands. Plus, it had a poor aeration head that never sprayed correctly. Replaced the toilet paper roller while I was in there. Both items ordered in the satin nickel finish, because the wife hates gold fixtures.
Hopefully I get the towel racks replaced next.

Been doing some plumbing myself the past two days. Since I was replacing the galley counter top and sink, I decided it would be a good time to replace all the polybutylene supply lines with PEX. I replaced everything from the sink and HW heater back through the pump to the shower. The toilet and Lavatory supplies I replaced 2 years ago. Winnebago must have been paying the guys who roughed the plumbing by the fitting. The amount of elbows was crazy. It looked like a 3 Stooges gag. I used a total of 5 elbows and 6 bend supports to replace.Click image for larger version

Replaced the old light fixtures (automotive bulbs) with LED fixtures.
Clean white light and much brighter. Big enough to cover footprint of old fixtures.
I will use the old double bulb units to replace single bulb ones.

Sold it!
Bought for $9,500 in 2014.
Added solar, repaired most everything, made a million memories and just sold for $10k.
Funny, if I buy the DP I have my eye on I might lose 5k per year.

Vanity sink upgrade, new counter tops coating

During the last two years of interior restoration/modernization of our MH, I used the Rust-o-leum three step Formica counter top coating product. Follow the instructions, and the hardest part is the prep masking of all other surfaces.

Excellent results easily obtained by an amateur.

In hopes that the pixs load effectively.
