Well i'm now the proud keeper of 5 EZPass transponders, what a joke! Didn't get to the piping today but the missus said we are leaving by Sunday morning even if she has to use a Chamber Pot! She told me with the tools i'm bringing she doesn't care what I have to buy to fix anything on the road ,she just wants to get out there! She says our3- 4 legged children are getting depressed seeing her loading the MH up , she says they think we are leaving them! Guess I better prioritize and get out of here before I look outside and see the MH missing! Bobby

Damn, it's snowing again, they say 4-8" , well I'm gonna fire up the heater and go out and do what I have to do! Going to snowblow the sidewalks on the block but my neighbors that are healthy and able will have to do their own walks and driveways, will still do the older folks that can't. It's still above freezing so I don't know how heavy the snow will get , but I have a big machine. Usually stay out like 6-8 hours doing the whole block, but have cut back as the neighbors have gotten too used to me doing it all and have cut back on throwing me gas and belt money. They were disappointed when my old machine blew up and I didn't replace it for a yearor 2, then I bought this $1300 machine, but i'm not beating it to death for them if they won't put into the kitty! Not cheap , but not a fool either! A few of them bought those Home Depot specials and ruined them the first few times they used them! Well better get outside for a while, SO is getting antsy! Bobby

With all this snow coming down, I went to the motorhome and put up new curtains. I got rid of those horrible wood and fabric ones...they create way too much dust

WOW you have way more of the white stuff. Its going up to the mid 50ties by Tuesday. So they say...
So Sundays the Big day Sounds like the Wife is going with or without you.
I wish I was going someplace south. First big trip for 2015 for us is going up North to a casino w/rvpark and go and watch Friday Night Fights. And spend the night or Weekend.
I went out yesterday and fired her up and watched a little TV. and read a few Motor Home Magazines. I seem to Feel Better after being in her. LOL
I kept my big Toro but after my back Finally went out I got a new Cub-cadet Lawn Tractor for a B-Day present Then I bought a Plow, chains and a extra weight for it besides my #240. I also helped with the neighbors Driveways and have had a few that didn't even shout out a Thank-youI have a blast with it, I just wish they sold a motorized Style plow that turns/moves the Blade.
Have a good one.
Tim

Had to educate the plow truck driver as I had done nearly the entire block blowing the street from the middle up onto the lawns. He kept plowing and filling up everyones driveways after I had cleaned them, there was nothing for him to plow , he was just collecting OT making a mess! Told him to go find some real plowing to do or i'd call his boss down! Bobby

Hey Tim, if that cub was mine I would go on Ebay and buy a couple 12" linear actuators the 12 volt ones (under $100) and wire them to make your plow a power angle one! I have done it before on a friends machine, works like a charm! Bobby

That's to bad. Have you vented your frustrations with the city? I live on a corner and on the border of 2 cities so I get it twice.

I don't usually make to many waves, I have been here about 34 years and in that time ,I have done what some would consider strange in a residential area! I used to run my own rigs pulling freight and produce and used to wash and work on them in front of the house and in my driveway. Strangest one was when I changed the cab on one of my trucks, pulled it in the back yard , tilted it up and cut the hinges letting it fall on the lawn. Made an excellent doghouse for 2 years till I scrapped it for aluminum! Had to get the truck back out to forklift the new cab in to the garage so I could paint it, so I had to start the bare chassis up with a friend steering it with a pair of vicegrips as I drove it out into the street to shuffle things around, it raised a few eyebrows! The only time i've had a problem with the TOWN was when we went to the Orange County Fair in Middletown , NY and a little girl conned me into buying her baby goat or her parents were going to kill it, (yes, I was drunk)! Brought it home, named him Marlboro and used to go out and i'd smoke a cigarette and he would eat one! Kids used to come play with him , then one of the PITA neighbors called the town. Had a notice in the mailbox, cease and desist or pay a $250/day fine for " Harboring a WILD Animal", I called and told them it wasn't a damn LION, they didn't care , so we gave it to a petting zoo out on the island! I Miss Marlboro, except when he ate all the wiring out of my '56 Chevy pickup I was working on! LOL, Bobby

All this talk about snow make me fell guilty about living in SC. Camping at Santee lake as we speak. 29 last night, Suns out today and weather will be flirting with 70. Motorhome's first shakedown cruise after 3 year refurb. She did Great.

Installed the magnets for a Magne Shade.

Can't see in

but cuts the glare and easy to see out.

Replaced my old winegard power supply with the sensar pro and added a wingman. Went from 8 channels to 35 with the wingman

(ran scan 2 times before adding the wingman after changing to the sensar pro DID NOT MOVE the antenna. Made me a believer.

Converted two of my fluorescent fixtures to LED.

Drank a couple of cold beverages and enjoyed a nice Cohiba IMO it was a decent Saturday.

I used armor all bug shield in a can, peel on peel off, ( I used it before on my Ford Ranger) and cleaned, taped, and sprayed the bug shield on the front because I'm leaving next thursday for Pre - Sebring for the week before race and then up to South Carolina, North Carolina, etc. after that from sunny South Florida

Flushed the radiator with Prestone Super Flush and replaced the anti-freeze.

Climbed up on the roof with a tube of EDPM rubber and sealed anything that even looked like a potential leak.

Lubed the chassis.

Changed the oil and filter in the generator.

Flushed the fresh water tank

Flushed the grey and black tanks.

Changed out the brake fluid in the master cylinder.

Serviced all the tires.

Repaired one of the awning rails.

Fixed two leaks under the faucets at the kitchen sink.

Washed the motorhome.

Cleaned out the interior.

Fixed the hood latches.

Washed all the linens.

Replaced the house battery with a new deep cycle battery.

The last oil change, air filter change was like, 200 miles ago so, I wont bother with that. Plus, the fuel filter is fairly new too.

I can't think of anything else that needs to be done right now. The old RV is ready to go.

What did you do to your old RV today?
Hope your wife is well.

I want some your coffee. Good productive days!

I went to an old pals shop and used his pneumatic sucker to change oil. Still about 2 gallons in the pan after I pulled the plug. Monaco book says 17 qts., reality is 22 qts.
