Hubby is putting a new fuel filter in the genny.

I think I'm going in July to meet up in Minnesota with a friend of
mine from Houston. She her daughter, and granddaughter are
going up there on vacation and wanting Sue Anne and I to join
them. Sounds like a good trip. Of all the places she could have
moved her daughter moved about 20 miles south of where we
live, small world. She is a chemical engineer but has a daughter
with issues, different then Sue Anne but still not letting her lead
a normal life. We are hoping the 2 will become friends. They
both need some. Hope it works out.

Pulled the old doors and installed an RV door on our Skoolie. Very quiet ride now.

Yes, that door looks great.

How far along are you with the rest of the conversion. Always wanted to do one of those.

Dropped the Mountain Aire off at a 2nd repair shop to see if they can figure out this power loss issue.
So far I've replaced: O2 sensor, MAP sensor, TPS, coil, ICM/TFI, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel pump, fuel filter, and fuel pressure regulator. New distributor in-hand if needed (far easier replacing the entire dizzy than just the pickup).
When she runs well, the Banks Power Pack was a major upgrade, but ever since the install, she looses power when under load, then it kicks back in like flipping a switch. Hopefully have her fixed and ready for our trip later this month.

Also got the new fuel filler hose installed. Not fun! But at least it's done, and doesn't leak so I was able to fill the tank.

Charged batteries, checked fluids cranked the engine yesterday. Today clean carpet, replace a taillight I dinged putting her in storage. Then go top off gas and propane.

I keep reading about people having to repair boots on tie rod ends and was asking about them. My husband said ours has king pins instead like a semi, its a Spartan and a 1992. When did they start doing them differently?

Well we took our maiden trip last week. We were waiting for the weather to get better so I didn't have to put chains on. Had trouble getting over the summit on 80 no power running hot. Made it to Reno Wed. before dark as the alternator was only putting out 10 amps. I spent Thursday running to Napa and replacing vacuum lines, and making an appointment to have the radiator flushed and a Smog check. Went in Friday the guy said he could not get to radiator would have to take to RV shop. Then he said that if I drive less than 5000 miles a year I can register it as a classic and never have to smog. So that's what we did. Went to DMV long long line 3 to 4 hour wait. DW smiled at someone told them we had to be somewhere 100 miles away by 5:00 could we get a 1 day moving permit as we were going to leave MH in Reno and come back on Saturday. She expedited us and we skipped the line. We were out in less 30 minutes. Started for home stopped in Boomtown for gas filled up drove around station unit stalled wouldn't start. Had to leave it there overnight as we had to be in Grass Valley Ca. by 5. Went back on Saturday with an alternator. Found that one of the vacuum lines had come off, and I had missed one. Went to change the alternator noticed I could turn the pulley with my hand. So I tightened the belt started her up, and it was charging 15 amps. Drove to Cisco Grove and spent the night. that was a nice end to a frustrating week. Drove home Sunday. Still need to work on vacuum advance but we are home.
