All Decals Removed and then cleaned .... Front end painted 2 months before front end decals were applied ..... Sign Tech, Bull Shoals, Arkansas did the work and he will do yours too, I believe, he has a motor home himself.

Thanks. Bull Shoals is a little far for me to pop over to. Visited Bull Shoals about 5 years ago. Wife and I stayed in Flippin. This company, Sign Tech,, isn't in other locations are they? If I go to the trouble of removing the old decals I may just paint them back on. Have not decided.

The decals look great! Updating the stripes on these older MH makes a huge difference. I'm just finishing up painting my 94 Safari and changed on of the colors in the stripe pattern and it looks great!

Cleaned the evaporator and condenser on both AC units. Installed new filters.

Today
Today replaced my totally worn out water heater with a new one. 10 gal gas/electric had to bust out the wiring diagram since my 17 year old water heater was wired differently.
Feeling pretty salty after my luxurious shower this afternoon.
My 2001 Winnie never had it so good.

Coach,
Did you have a 6 gal prior to replacing it? Was it electric or just propane and you installed it as both?

The prior was lp/electric 10 gallon. As is the new one. The old one had 110v switching. The newer ones have 12v switching. We rarely use gas so I elected to put switch in compartment next to wh and not mess with switch on power panel in hallway. I also robbed power for switch from dome light in that compartment which I never used. I don’t keep bulbs in the lights in my compartments. I find they get bumped on and drain batteries. I also had one get bumped on and melt a hole in an outdoor rug. Could have been a tragedy.

Ticking off the final to do's....still
I have reservations in 2 RV parks at NorCal beaches in August, so unless Flatnose Frank is done, I''ll be pitching a tent in the sand
In-between a lot of $$ work and travel, I've managed to build and install my seat control module, sound-proof the genset door, mount the solar panel (yes, I need at least 2 more), install window shades and valances, fix a big gap in the windshield rubber, and I am now working my way through fixing and rewiring the dash.
Less than 10 major tasks left!

You have done a great job on Frank. Going to be a great time camping. Time to enjoy your labors.

I've very much enjoyed the journey of Flat Nose Frank's phoenix rise. Anxious to know how the inaugural trip goes.
Congrats!

Removed the microwave/ convection oven my wife says “it popped and quit working” this past weekend. Found the internal fuse and replaced it. Plugged it back in and worked like a charm... for about 5-10 seconds then went blank... sigh. Maybe the 20 yo unit is at its end.

I've definitely enjoyed the advice, encouragement, and enthusiasm of everyone on this forum!
I think we're all into RV'ing because of the love of the journey...and while this build isn't done (I know it never actually will be...like a house)..I'm actually wondering how I'll miss the journey of the build once I'm camping and enjoying the "living it" part!
Grateful and glad I found IRV2 in the first place!
