Why? Now you are controlled by the propane dealers? With the old tank, there’s no inspiration or expiration date.

Had our pump cycle on and off, periodically since our trip to Yellowstone two years ago. Recently the pump was cycling every 15-30 seconds, every time it was turned on.
Have looked for possible leaks numerous times to no avail. Decided to rebuild our Shuffle pump with new seals and valves. Rebuilt the pump last week, and can report that the pump runs quieter, delivers more volume and the cycling has stopped. The old rubber parts were hard, and had a bluish material on them Can only assume it was some degradation deposits. Pictures below.
Also changed the third brake light lens from clear to red. When I ordered the lens last year the all red lens was on back order. As much as I liked the clear lens, the red one does look more factory installed.

No more than anybody with a gas grill at home...
1. Want the storage
2. Only need propane for the stove/fridge. (Took 6 years to get to 1/4tank)
3. Way easier to fill

When expired, exchange it. Exchanges are only 80% fill though, so I usually fill at tractor supply unless they won't due to certs.

80% is a normal fill on any LP tank.

Sadly we were forced to sell our coach a couple weeks ago. The cost to operate was too much and it was just sitting. On the plus side I’m about 700 a month richer. Also. Someday I was planning on upgrading to something smaller and newer. This move opens the door to that. Owning it was a dream I had for many many years so it was a bittersweet move.

Replaced Kitchen Sink

DW did not like the double bowl sink that came with the coach so...

Took a few days but finished with new sink and faucet.

Was checking my tire pressure this AM (before a small trip) and noticed the pavement wet at the left rear tire. Water was dripping from the wheel well cover seam. Turned out the water seals at the shower faucet failed. The water ran down the plastic piping and exited the coach. (super lucky)

Turned off the water supply, went to Ace hardware and get the seals. Modified them to fit out faucet, and checked for leaks after installing. Left to get my wife from the airport, and checked for any leaks (after 3 hours) no leaks. Installed then tonight, and all is well. No more leaks.

I'm super glad that I checked the tire pressure this morning, otherwise I would not have caught this slow leak for weeks.

If you weren't clear over in Wyoming and I was certain I could somehow fit that under the side of the truck bed, I'd probably be all over that old 32 gallon tank so I could dual fuel the pickup from propane or gasoline.

Replaced the distributor button, cap, new cables and plugs, the plugs were way over due, but the cap and wires and what not were probably long past their service life with likely close to a 100,000 miles on them from the last time they were replaced in 2007.
