Colleen Pelchat (ColleenP)

It's with deep sadness, Andy and the staff of iRV2 have learned of the passing of a dear friend and member, Colleen Pelchat, on April 10. Colleen was the beloved wife of fellow iRV2 Events and Marketing Director Mike (DriVer) Pelchat & mother to 2 boys.

Joining iRV2 in February 2000, Colleen was a charter member and best known to us for helping Mike plan and coordinate our iRV2 Rallies. Her bright smile and warm friendship will be greatly missed by all of us who had the honor of knowing her. iRV2 Rallies and Carolina Camper campouts will never be the same without her, but she will always be with us in spirit and in our hearts.

Obituary details may be found here

This is very, very sad news. As many, I became acquainted with Mike & Colleen on iRV2. When we where in Myrtle Beach we made a point to swing by their new home and introduce ourselves. Our paths crossed at some rallies also. Mayberry Rally in 2009 and the iRV2 National Rally in Ohio. Colleen was very sociable and my wife Sandy and I very much enjoyed her company. Mike we will be thinking of you in your time of sorrow.

We met Coleen and Mike at an FMCA rally in Perry Ga with our 'gang' here on irv2.com in the early 2000's. Since then we have been to a couple more FMCA rallys and at least 2 irv2 rallys which Mike was Wagonmaster. She was always a gracious hostess and welcomed everyone. She will be truly missed.

So sad to hear this news. Met her in Myrtle Beach and liked her right off the bat. A wonderful lady. R.I.P.

We met Colleen at the 2010 IRV2 10th Anniversary Rally in Myrtle Beach and became aware of her kindness and talents. Throughout the years She was an integral part of many things IRV2 as well as everything else she was involved in.
Rest In Peace and Condolences to Mike and Family.

My condolences to Mike and his family.
I met Colleen when Judy and I became a member of the Nor’easters through IRV2 and have enjoyed camping with Colleen and Mike over the years. May she rest in the company of the Lord.

Mike as I have told you many memories will come in inoperative moments and they will require some thought on how you may respond, the link above will start you on the way in filling in her DASH which will be full, I think you know where my wife's is at, its always being added to, as my life keeps moving on and events keep happening.
Peace to you and your family.

Hello friends of ColleenP. I just wanted to share with you one item that you see everyday when you logon to iRV2 and that is our logo. Early on, the logo designed by Bill was nice but I had a thought to make it a bit more dynamic and colorful. When Colleen got wind of this, she took over the project, just about, and she drew a new center piece on a piece of paper and explained what her concept was, and handed it to me. The design was later created in Norwalk, CT by a graphic artist that I know and it became the logo that we see today. Her idea was about travelling and winding down the road. So when you see our logo, think of her and how much she loved her iRV2 friends, working our rallies and how much of an integral part of our site she was.

Colleen always wanted to let her friends know to always -

I did not know that, Mike. I will always be reminded of Colleen....every time I glance at that logo on the plaque on our ladder & every time I attend an iRV2 Rally.

Mike,
As Lori stated, I didn't know that about IRV2 Logo. I will never look at it again without thinking of Colleen. She was a wonderful woman and I will cherish the time we spent together at Myrtle Beach rally in October. Lynn and I send our deepest condolences to you and your family.
