How very sad. I always enjoyed reading his posts and his sage advice.
This forum is so unique in that we are friends and acquaintances with so many people that we have never met.
I too feel that I have lost a friend. RIP my friend !

Now can I drive your Segway, Mike? I promise to be careful.

I know you'll have everything in heaven fixed soon. Then what kinda trouble are you gonna get in?

The world will never be the same without ya, my friend.

I did not get to know him very well, but from his on-line persona, he is someone that I would have liked to.

I shared many of PM's with Mike over the past couple of years even before the cancer struck. He had a unique sense of humor and at the same time was a very intelligent guy.

I got to meet him in person last winter and we had a great visit. He was a friend to one and all.
Rest in Peace my friend.

Slick

Very sad to hear this. Cindy and I send our very best to the family and want them to know he will be missed by us and many others who enjoyed his comments and humor.

What tree would symbolize Mike?

I would like to plant a tree in Mike's honor, but I'm not sure what type of tree would best symbolize Mike and grow here in the Pacific Northwest. If I was planting it in Phoenix I would choose a Saguro cactus. They won't grow here in zone 6b. Any suggestions?
