I have done it for the past two years on trips down to Florida and South Carolina and it also worked just fine with our VISA card. So:

If Postal Code is P1E 2R7, you type in 12700.

Works every time.

You need to enter the zip for the card address. I have a credit card with a mailing adress different then were I live. I enter the card address zip not my home zip.

Visa works for me. My Canadian postal code is K0M1R0, I use 01000 at the pumps. That was in Florida last winter.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if 00000 would work just fine for you....Their computers are looking for 5 digits and the ones from your postal code are there...the other zeros are just placeholders....mine works fine with 01000 N0N 1C0 I can confirm that works on the Visa computers (the only card I use) but may not for the Mastercard.

I've used 01000 with my CTC mastercard and it works most of the time. Can't remember where we were when it didn't work as we've been from Southern Ontario to southern CA and back and from here to Alaska and back this year.
