Heeded an invitation for Labor Day weekend from my son to spend three days on what he calls a ''floating RV''. He rented a 29' sailboat and we boondocked on Lake Champlain. Aw man, that was a trip! Something about Valcour Island and sunrises and before-breakfast swims that is really special.

Naturally we hungout on the Chuch St. Mall in Burlington Saturday night, BBQ. at anchor and the sunrise yesterday morning at Valcour. Yeah, I have no problems with ''floating RVs''

Glad it's a sailboat, you get to stay away from those @*&%#@^&* fuel pumps!

We did some sailing on Champlain when we still lived in Montreal, great sailing lake. While I have done some sailing on Ontario, this is a lake that can get nasty in a hurry.

Now if someone can come up with a wind powered RV we'd be all set!
