How long out of country/province and keep health-care?

Doing the planning for living in RV and traveling year-round, so have a newbie question: I understand there's a 212 day limit per year for travel out of country ( I live in Ontario ). But do the remaining days in that year have to be in-province? What I'd like to do is travel in US for up to the 212 days, then travel across Canada for the balance of the year (some in Ontario, but not all). Can I do that and still keep my Ontario health coverage?

That's a great resource, thank you. They almost answered my entire question, but not quite . I posted a question to them there and if they answer, that should do it. Thanks again !!

One thing to be careful of when using up your allotted days out of Canada. I didn't think about it until last week when I was down visiting my mom who stays in California over the winter. She never goes right to the last day. She leaves about a week of time when she comes back. That way, if something comes up in the summer where she has to go back to take care of any emergencies or for any unfortunate events, she isn't going over her yearly limit to be in the states and take the tax/health care consequences that come with it.
