Post need opinions from Canadians on trailer insurance

Hello to all,
our 5th wheel insurance policy is coming due next week. I have been doing some checking around, as we think the premium sounds a bit high.
Our trailer is a 2007, 38' 5th wheel. We have total replacement coverage-all risks, with a 300.00 deductible. Also covers personal effect, 11,000,outbuilding, 1000., loss of use 2000. The premium is with tax 1202.00 here in Ontario..
I called a few companies in the US, with ontario plates and an ontario drivers lic,(and because I am originally a US citizen) we could get anywhere from a 500.00 to 800.00 yearly premium. Some stated it would replacement value for the next 3 yrs., then an actual value of 46,000 for the next 10 yrs.
Am i looking in the wrong place, is there anyone in Canada(we have wayfarer, underwritten by Aviva) who is more reasonable? Are us Canadians being price gouged again! We have been with this company and paid this prem since we got the trailer in 07.
Are there other options..? What are other Canadians buying and from whom..
Thanks in advance for your replies..
Dona
