Seeking RV Diesel Mechanic Recommendations in Toronto Area

Hello All,

I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a diesel mechanic or general RV shop in the greater Toronto area. I bought a slightly older diesel RV from in the US and managed to get it over the border, but now need a safety inspection certificate. It runs well, but it wouldn't surprise me if repairs needed to happen, so I'd like someone who isn't going to rip me off. If anyone has a mechanic with whom they've worked and who they like, I'd love any recommendations.

Thanks!!

Congratulations on your new coach. As you probably realize there are very few class A diesels in the GTA due to the cost of storage. Suggest you start looking about 50 miles outside of the GTA for a small truck place. The inspection as I recall focues mostly on Canadian requirements such as DRLs and not really in a mechanical direction. Get the document required and go from there.

I have been using Spenser Creek Service in Valens, ON for several years now.
They are located between Hwy 6 and Cambridge on regional road 97.
The service is excellent, pricing is fair and definitely trustworthy.
I have no hesitation in recommending them for Diesel, Gas, RV's and Autos.
I have even called them from Florida for their opinion on an issue I was having.
They are my go-to place.
Ask to speak with either Chris or Martin.

I totally agree with Jim.B1 took old Rv there for safety was well priced and efficient. My new Rv had generator trouble throwing code 45 which is usually brushes. I was told that if it was a diesel issue no problem but with it being on the electrical side he did feel he was the right guy for the job. I was very impressed he could have taken it in charged me to to diagnose something he wasn't familiar with but he was straight up with me. I have a lot of respect for this business and the way they do business.
