Hey all. Was bluefishing in Va. Saturday dressed in jeans and a T-shirt...Left Tuesday for home, slept over in a rest area on the I-87 at Glen's Falls and woke up to a snow laden forest of sad looking evergreens! They got a good 15 cm out of it. Glad I winterized, Brad.LOL
Hey LK.See Wilma around? Lousy time to lift the pots!

Jim,
Wilma rather missed the prov., but it's still windy in eastern part of the island. I see some poor souls have to put up with Beta and Beta looks like he/she/it will damage recently hurt areas.
Tell you more tomorrow.

Huh!! Sad looking Huh! Everygreens decorated for Christmas cards!!! We haven't seen any of it.
The other for today is that I was in St. John's for all of that wet and wind for most of the week. I just don't tell when my home is 'unprotected'. Coworkers gave us 8 heavy boxes for the return yesterday eve. The wind didn't bother us at all. We did the 694 km/450mi. in 7 hours.
& no snow yet. & still lots of colour. Heading up to Gros Morne touring others for much of the weekend.

Ah! LK, I'd Love to travel that road again.....
Most of our colours are gone, just gold and browns left here. Would love to see Rocky Harbour as well, on the way to Gros Morne. Take a trip out to the light house, and stop for a slice of BakeApple pie and coffee at the cafe/souvenir shop, overlooking the harbour. AAAHHH!!!!! The Memories....Brad

Brad, me son, you mistake much of what will be open off season. However, I'm counting on the Shallow Bay Motel Restaurant in Cow Head, where Gros Morne Theatre Festival takes place, to be open.
Lobster Cove Lighthouse guaranteed. My guest likes stuff like this and would gladly hike the Green Garden Trail, would that we had the time.

LK, me 'ol trout, said I'd like to do it again, not necessarily now. Think I'll wait till the weathers warmer. Is the village of Rocky Harbour actually closed for the season?

Say, Brad, you ever see Buddy Wassisname and the other fellers?
Not the burg of Rocky Harbour closed, but some of the restaurants, museums and other touristy things. Like with the Lighthouse, the building and the exhitbits will be closed.
Just might try to get into the Insectarium, seeing as how I know the owner.... depending upon the wishes of the touree. Touring people at the time of the year has its challenges.
