Thank you much Brad...and ditto to all of you.

Re: Pink stuff....Nope.I'll put it in before leaving and we'll use bottled water. Have to eventually put it in anyway, somewhat diluted with ''end of season'' teardrops. We camp until the snow anyway, so might as well do it now and be done with it.

Its begining to feel like Fall, Thanksgiving weather here. Over night temps down around 4C, damp rainy... We really can't complain with the weather we've had all summer though..its been just great Now if it would only stay like this for another month...then get warmer

Well, some of our leaves are beginning to fall. Colour was slow to arrive, but it's here now.

We've had two frosts. Have you? This is early frost, believe it or not. Oct 12 is more normal, and it's been as late as Oct. 19 or later (I quit watching that year). Right now, it's about 13 and it's warm in the house.

Rain today, but after that...................... here's hoping......

Duck weather...........

Rain, east winds, leaves falling, leaves being raked and the Cats got whupped last night.

No frost yet, which is surprising as we usually get a killer between Sept. 20- 27.

Campers are still set up at W-M at Lévis. The snow geese will be back soon and it will be a re-birth of the camping season. Farmers are complaining as the geese are doing a job on their fields.

Weather permitting: Annual Father-Son Bluefish-o-rama in Connecticut beginning Friday, come home Monday, and Tuesday on the road again heading for bluefish and stripers near Norfolk, Va....Annual Father-Daughter Bluefish Tournament.

Returning home for the Annual Husband-Wife Winter Garage Festival..Everyone is invited to help, feel free. Will have chili and beer available. The more we are, the faster the garage gets put up, the longer we can linger over Jim's famous Roadkill Red and Moosehead

Again HAPPY THANKSGIVING.............

Is everyone well stuffed?

How many of us tried to get on earlier, I wonder? A wicked day for the site to go down.

Now, this past Easter Sunday, I lost connectivity. What is it with holidays that makes web techies have to work????

Only 1/2

Or does anybody have any idea what happened (btw I tried to add this question earlier and got and error message)?

Well what a weekend!! Spent the last 5 days dry camping in a beautiful setting at a craft show, but it RAINED a lot, cold, windy, cloudy saw very very little sun in 5 days. But your know what?? People came out anyhow, we had a great pot luck dinner in the dark and cold with friends for thanksgiving and no grumbling. Everyone seemed happy to be there inspite of the weather.

What a weekend indeed. I'm starting to walk like a turkey. Turkey Saturday, Sunday AND Monday. Had good get togethers with family and friends which makes the whole weekend worthwhile. But No -more turkey till at least Christmas...then Boxing Day... New Years Day...

An old family tradition back when I was a kid. The turkey carcass would be wrapped up in a shoebox and mailed to another relative, without a return address. That recipient would then send it to another member whom he suspected was responsable for the prank...Well after about three weeks!!!!!.......Need I say more?

My wife always make turkey and rice soup from the carcass. I like that better than the turkey. Of course, I have to wait until late November here in the states.
