Thanks!

Do you have a favorite place to setup base camp where it's not so dusty?

We live in Lucerne Valley. We like to camp out in Johnson Valley, but have not ventured out very far.

Isn't that like asking how not to get wet while you're in the ocean? LOL

trips this summer

we are going out to the colorado river in july, I know it's gonna be hot hot hot, we will be staying at the pirate cove resort peninsule site 4, it has full hookups but the ac gives up after the temp hits 100, so we just stay in the water all day. we are going to leo carrillo state beach the end of june and silver lake in august, haven't had the motorhome out since january and really itching to get back out there.

Enjoy but be very careful with those temperatures. We did that last years WITHOUT water toys and thought we'd melt after a few days.

Pammyjams, we will try out Silent Valley near Idyllwild in early December. My inlaws have a membership there and we love it there. Are you from so. Cal? Have you heard of Silent Valley?

We are stocking up our rig now and it's so much fun!! We pretty much raided our house for supplies and man, had no idea how much we've been hoarding stuff, lol....who would have known, hahaha!!!!!

Bozo13, we are about 20 minutes away from Disneyland

We would love to rv at state beaches.....one of it would be Bolsa Chica state beach.....

Justus,
If you have trouble with reservations at Bolsa Chica State Beach. You could try Dockweiler State Beach. Usually a little less crowded and easier to get a spot without reservations. We live close by and have been there many times. Short of the jets taking off overhead from LAX, It is a great place to camp. We happen to like watching a big planes take off and land.
Just a thought. Happy travels
