Chris;
My wife and I went to graduation at UNR in June and looked all over for an RV campground.
Since we could not find very many, we took a chance and booked for three days at the Reno RV Park:
Reno Rv Park, Camps & Campgrounds, Reno, NV 89502 - index

This is one of those places that looks good on the web but once there I began to have second thoughts and actually considered leaving. The neighborhood is a bit dicey. We took a walk around in the afternoon and I got real nervous about walking around at night. One can see the Reno skyline from the street.
The manager recommended that we take cabs, (which I did not like at all as cabs are very expensive where we live), but it was better than walking around at night.
As it turned out the cabs were great, friendly and really, really cheap. We took them all over. They even came to our campsite as a matter of routine.
I can't remember the cost of the RV park but it was very reasonable. The spaces are somewhat tight, but I did remember seeing some trucks with cabs. Not sure about trailers. The manager lives in the camp site in an RV.
The manager was real nice and the park turned out great and clean. This place has a large number of people who live there. After 3 days, I did not want to leave!! Lots of trees. Very secure with gates at both end. Of course its right smack dab in the middle of large city, but it turned out great for the casinos and the graduation.
It is my place to stay whenever I go to Reno.
Pete
