Page Arizona, Monument Valley in February

Anyone been to these areas in February. We are Canadian, so cool temperatures dont bother us. Sub zero could be a problem for the coach. Snow is not desirable. Any suggestions would be appreciated. We left the coach in Phoenix last year and drove up to the Grand Canyon in the toad. We were hoping to see monument valley this year. |I know Flagstaff is known for snow storms, but if we could get a good week without snow we could take the toad to monument valley and maybe Page to see the slot canyons.
Thanks

It can be very cold and snowy in Feb.
It is at elevation and elevation equals snow.
A rule of thumb I use in AZ during the winter is, stay below 5,000 feet unless a good forecast and day trips.

IMHO this is a GREAT TIME to do Monument Valley and Page (Mexican Hat - Canyon de Chelly - Horse Shoe of the Colorado and the Slot Canyons)

We are Canadian, so cool temperatures don't bother us.

It will be cool but the days are usually Sunny and tend to be Nice.

Sub zero could be a problem for the coach.

Seriously doubt you will encounter those temps in this area.

Snow is not desirable.

Elevation is generally the key on Snow in these areas, so just keep an eye on the weather.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Canyon de Chelly is often missed and is exceptional.

We left the coach in Phoenix last year and drove up to the Grand Canyon in the toad.

We were hoping to see monument valley this year.

Easy Peasy - Just be sure to keep the propane up for heat, and you may need to search out CG's that are open.

I know Flagstaff is known for snow storms, but if we could get a good week without snow we could take the toad to monument valley and maybe Page to see the slot canyons.

Thanks
Hope this is of some help,

We've camped numerous times in those areas during the February time frame. As a general rule of thumb you can expect cool but pleasant daytime temps, below freezing more often than not at night, with a possibility of snow, but it's not all that common. If you're using the Fahrenheit temperature scale below zero temps are rare. It's one of my favorite times of the year to be down that way as the crowds are light, and the hiking tends to be great. I find it much easier to add layers of clothing than to deal with 100 plus degree temps when hiking. As for campground availability, the only formal campground I've used near Page is the Wahweap campground which is nice, albeit somewhat pricey. There are numerous nice areas to boondock around Page. For the Monument Valley area we've always boondocked north of there.

X2

My suggestion is to leave your rig in Phoenix and drive to Page slots and Monument Valley. You could do the slot tours and drive to MV the same day. The Indians have a Lodge on the res there.
