Peacocks in the Campground
Hello All,
On our last trip we found peacocks cruising our campground.
I made a video to share.

You can have them. They are pretty in someone else's yard. When it comes to a mess they are like flying cows. There screams can scare the beegeebees out of you at sunrise.
My neighbor had a half dozen, but they didn't always stay at home.

Lucky you!!!!! Neighbors of ours, (well sort of neighbors.....they were a couple of fields over from us!) Had a couple of them, I awoke to their call each day. A few months ago I realized I no longer heard them.....I miss them.

Last weekend we stopped at Casa de Fruta in the Pacheco Pass on our way to the coast for camping at Smith Woods by Santa Cruz. Peacocks are a staple there and they wonder throughout the camp looking for food. Love seeing them.

Exactly...........
Males are 'pretty' with that tail feather display but then poop and screeching no thanks.
Same with herd of ducks.
On CG had hundreds of ducks that roamed the grounds and left poop logs everywhere.
Between stopping the dog from munching and constantly having to look before stepping.........no thanks

Interesting video. I've seen rabbits and chickens at campgrounds but never peacocks. Thanks for sharing.

My wifie sure don't like them....
We went to Cattleman's Steak House in Tx...they have some of them, well she didn't know that and didn't see the one that screeched right in back of her....I had to pick her up off the ground......

They're also in Palm Springs at SAM's Spa and Camping Resort. Pretty but noisy.
