Petaluma,Ca to Tillamook,Or.

I am planning to travel up HWY101 from Petaluma,Ca to Tillamook,Or. I have a 40ft. 5'vr and have two questions.
1st. how is the diesel situation on 101 I can comfortably run about 180 miles with my rig this is just a little over 1/2 tank. 8-9mpg.
2nd. is about road conditions: Will I run into any tight situations with the 40ft. and 3/4 ton truck?

Thanks, I'll be leaving in the morning. My main concern was getting good fuel between Petaluma and Crescent City, I have an app that shows stations with diesel and it wasn't showing very much on 101.
