Phoenix, need small 1" square sample of eternabond tape

Hi everybody! I've got a 2004 travel trailer that needs a little roof tlc. Beech Lane repair tape won't stick to the roof coating. See my thread here for more details:

https://www.irv2.com/forums/f84/perm...ml#post5839644

Some said try eternabond tape, but I'm guessing the two tapes are very similar and I'll end up with another roll of tape I can't use. So, anybody have a roll of eternabond tape and can give me a really small sample piece to test?

Also, I'm curious about roof coatings and which ones might or might not stick. If anyone has an open can of roof coating that wants to donate a small sample that would be awesome too!!

I'm in South Scottsdale.

If all else fails, PM me your address and I'll throw a strip of tape in the mail and send it your way pro bono.

That's awesome, thanks for the offer. I'll let you know if nothing else happens locally.

Walmart sells a small package of eternabond if memory serves me. Remember that pressure is required to properly activate the adhesive, much like 3M VHB.

Just wanted to say many many thanks to @Massparanoia for sending me a sample of eternabond tape. Turns out even eternabond doesn't stick to what I'm now convinced is a silicone roof coating.

I know I’m late to the game but I’m currently having my roof done by AZRVRoof. They use flex armor. They said my roof had some kind of silicone based coating that led to removing the EDPM rubber in order to spray their coating. So, you may well have something similar.

Hey Trexoffroad. Thanks for your reply. I did determine it was a silicone coating and tested new Henry Products silicone roof coating on it and adhesion was excellent! So definitely able to re-seal a silicone coating with new silicone.
