I know there must be alot of us in the SoCal area. We are going to Potero County Park Thanksgiving weekend. Sure would like to see a couple of stickers out there!

Guess there is just not alot of interest at this time. Maybe we should start planning for a spring get together?

You have any preference for when and where we should try and set something up? I'll be glad to help put this thing together.

I am cleared for takeoff. Boss lady says we are cleared for camping around Thanksgiving (or other time). Potrero at Thanksgiving, or at any other time if more folk are available, all sounds fine to me. Actually, living in Lakeside, Potrero and all other East County sites are close to my house, but we'll go just about anywhere.
Any other IRV2 bumper stickers in SanDiego or SoCal area up for getting a little dirt on your trailer tires soon?? I have 2 behaved dogs that believe they are members of the family, but I find their schedule is very tolerant to the idea of camping.

Fatdog,
We already have reservations at Potrero for the 21st trhu 25th. I believe they still have spaces available. We have a group of 6 rigs already going, would be glad to have more.

This is the last chance for Thanksgiving weekend at Potrero. They have really filled up fast. Don't know if any sites are left. We will be in site 27 (I think).
See ya there!

I see a lot of SoCal Boomers are from the San Diego area. Was just wondering if there are other chapters in Southern Calif. Like in the Inland Impire area.

Had a great time at Potrero this past weekend. Only got down to the high 30's at night, had some rain Saturday nite.
OK, you SoCal people. Let's start getting something together for the spring. There are enough of us here that we should be able to come up with some good ideas!

Anybody out there? Am I all alone in Southern Cal? We have no excuse for not being out every weekend, or at least once a month. Can't say it's been too cold or too wet. Let's go people!

Now im in ohio and my pop up sits in the garage because ther is 2 ft of snow on the ground. YES SO CAL get out and Camp.

Onebud1,
i hearby appoint you honorable Chairperson of the Southern Cal Boomers. You are doing a good job in getting all us all together. I'm sorry I missed your Thanksgiving Potrero meet. (My best laid plans ..... )
O.K., a SoCal meet. Where ... ? When ...? Like someone else said here: we certainly can't let the weather hold us back.
I think we're going out to Ocotillo for a overniter this weekend. BUT: have you ever checked out Lake Jennings campground? I just drove through there a week ago to see what it is all about. Or Lake Morena ? Anyone else here up for a campfire in this area ?
