Emigrant Springs State Park

We are here (been here twice now) and it is nice place to rest. Very beautiful and elevation about 4,000 feet so cooler than Pendleton. On IS84 - exit 234. Wife and I are here for August 2013 creating a nice trail map. Little noisy from the IS but otherwise very nice place to relax. No lake or river but would come back here anytime.

You around the area drop by and say hello - we are sitting in a volunteer spot near the Community Building.

I've stayed there a few times. I love the smaller shower rooms in the restroom building.

Like you said, it's MUCH COOLER up there (this time of year) than down the hill in Pendleton.

Last time I went through there I didn't have an RV, and just went on down in to Pendleton. Tried staying at the KOA, and had planned on taking advantage of the rec room area like most KOA's have, but they didn't have one like I had seen before, and it closed up at 6pm! So I ended up staying in a hotel instead.
