Northwest Newbie

Hello everyone! My name is Justin. I posted in the newbie section but I thought since I live in Puyallup, Wa I would post here as well. I am 28yo, I'm married and have 3 boys. We arent new to the rv'ing world per say, (we have owned a class a motor home before as well as a pop tent trailer.) We currently own a 1993 fleetwood prowler 29 foot bunkhouse. We are looking forward to doing lots of camping this summer. Looking forward to getting to know some of you and maybe meeting a few at a campground here or there!

Welcome Justin to this awesome forum. Only been a member a couple of months. You should enjoy all the great help on this site. We will go full time the first of August for about a year until we build/purchase a retirement home in Boise, ID. We have a spot reserved at a local 5star RV resort for the full-timing. Spa, pool, weight room, all utilities included for $400 a month! It's almost a new park. Just wanted to say welcome.

Welcome to the family Justin.
If you want to meet local RVers, go up to the search block and type in; Northwest Fall 2012 Meet & Greet.
We are getting ready for our third Meet & Greet, looks like Sept.
Would love to have you and your family attend.
Larry

A couple years ago we started camping at thousand trails. Cost is 500 a year, that is 30 nights camping at no additional cost. The parks are really great for kids nad tbe staff keep things quiet at night. We have been real pleased.

greetings,

I live in Portland Oregon, looking at 3 diesel pushers and will make an offer on 1 this week.

I need to find a pro rv inspector. someone with lots of experience and no ties to local dealerships.

can anyone out there suggest someone in the Portland Oregon area?

also, any advice on an extended warrantee, who to purchase from?

thx,

dave in portland

We are staying a month at Emigrant Springs State Park - between LaGrande and Pendleton, Oregon - great place to spend a few days. Very pretty and 10 - 15 degrees cooler than Pendleton. Some FHU and some some 30 and 50. Nice place but is a little noisy from IS84. Take exit 234 and follow signs. No water activity but lots of trails - we are here in Aug 2013 to develop a trail map.
