Where in Oregon do you live?

Interesting: The “Where in Washington do you live” has a lot of replies. Hmmm.

I saw an old thread by this name but I thought I would revive it.

We live in Eugene, Oregon. It’s green. 150K~ population on the liberal side politically. Kayaking is limited to a few places locally, thus our motivation for buying a motorhome to take advantage of all the kayaking over 1.5 hours away.

We bought a Motorhome in December and looking for suggestions to RV & kayak in the PNW. We are ‘half’ retired, so not that many extended RV trips yet.

Oregonians represent!

Oregon has us listed as "Constant Traveler" on our drivers licenses but, as of last month we are now residents of Siletz Oregon population 1,212 at the 2010 census. Fisherman's and hunters paradise. It does rain a bit there though.

Well we live in Northern California but our RV and truck were purchased in your area - junction city. We like rving in Oregon a lot. We’ve been all up the coast and there are many good places to stay. Can’t wait for berry season so we can head up again!!

West of Salem, far enough off I5 to be consertative, far enough in the country to have a view of the Cascades.

West linn, a suburb of Portland but with (mostly) better leadership and more of a rural feel.

I'm right across the bridge from you. Follow the Oregon trail a couple of miles and you'll be cutting through my lawn.

Smile Where in Oregon do you live?

Hi - my husband and 2 dogs have a Clipper 21' trailer and we live outside of Grants Pass. We are heading to Lake Odell Resort on August 6th for 3 nights. Beautiful campground, electric hookup, no water. Close to trails etc. We stayed there last weekend - be sure to choose the sites that are NOT near the day use area - we made that mistake - # 55. We ended up in #20 and will be staying in #49 in August. Both really nice sites and close to trails including PCT. Would love to meet fellow campers if you are around!

Kind of interesting that no one's from Portland.

Been living in Portland for past 45 years. Basically below par city government and state government not much better. Still... Great area with lots to do in every direction. About 2 hours to the coast and same time the other direction and you're in high desert.
