Actually out Woods Creek to the north of Monroe -- unincorporated Snohomish county.

Had too much time tonight, read all 27 pages, interesting to see all those RVers from the Evergreen State.
Originally from Bremerton/Silverdale while serving in the Navy. After my wife's retirement (retired first), moved to Lake Cushman at Hoodsport. Nice, beautiful place and secluded in comparison to the Bemerton/Silverdale where it's now getting too crowded and commercialized.
Spend our winters in Yuma, Az.

I spent a few years across the inlet from Bremerton and bicycled almost all the area from Port Townsend to Shelton 40 years ago. In June we camped in Shelton and Hoodsport - We usually go off season to make loop of the Peninsula, so we will be back closer to the Christmas holiday.

Rightly so, during the pandemic 3 of the lots behind, on the side and in front of my place got bought out and cleared for new residents. Missed all those trees around my place in Div 18-3.

Same thing happening here in Div10.
Not sure why some of the newbies insist on clear cutting their lots, it makes them look like a really bad Thousand Trails campground.
Apparently timber prices must be good right now.
We’ve left as many old growth trees standing as possible on both our lots.

Agreed. I can't understand why people would purchase a lot it a forest and then decide that they'd like to have a lawn.
We live in an outer island in the San Juan Archipelago, by the way. And we cherish our salal.
