Sold our house in Fernberg, sorry, Ferndale, to full time in 2020. Our "domicile" is now Bellingham which technically makes us Bellinghamsters. The PNW is stunning in the summer, but the other 10 months our of the year makes you want to slash your wrists or eat Prozac like it's candy. No, neither of us were born there so our blood isn't gray.

Where in Washington?

Actually, I live in Idaho, but I can see Washington from my house!
Post Falls, Idaho is only a mile from the Washington State line on Interstate 90.

Lived on a farm north of the highway when I was a kid and it was US10. Rode the school bus out to state line every day.

Washington

Luckily, I no longer live in the state of oppression. Er, a, I mean Washington. Lived in the Olympia area for 30 years and it started out great but the last 8-10 years its been in a downward spiral.

I was born in Bremerton and I have been here for 70 years. I keep promising to move but that ship might have sailed.

I sometimes drive through Union when traveling to the Quimper Peninsula for camping. My favorite place to camp there is Point Hudson in Port Townsend, managed by the Port of Port Townsend, if you want to make reservations. I assume Townsend refers to Port Townsend.

Heck, I'll join in. Around 10 miles east of the Glacier Peak. Had to leave Ballard, the taxes are insane for retired folks, and the drugs and enabled bums..
I do have 6' of snow on the ground and it was -10* this A.M. I have a swell campfire going in the living room, and an excellent roomie with 4 paws and a fur coat. Meows!
