Long's Retreat Campground, Ohio

I would love to take the family to Long's Retreat in Latham, Ohio. My only concern is they don't accept reservations. I definately want water hookup!!!! I prefer sewer hookup, but can survive without it. We have an older motorhome -1986 - without auto levelers or scissor jacks. So we also need a fairly level site...we always take boards to back on to level out the camper.

Are the sites fairly level? Has anyone had to turn around and go elsewhere because nothing was available? It's a 2 hour drive, I hate the thought of not getting a site....

Thanks!

I always call before leaving, to see if it looks as if I can get in and then do a follow up call when near, to verify I can get in. Sometimes I explain the driving time to the campground and they make sure I can get in. When they know your near it helps in getting in. Good luck and safe travels.

Thanks! I'm hoping to take a drive down there Saturday morning to check it out with the kids. With only 1 weekend off a month I want to make sure it's a risk we want to take...
