There are also 50 amp sites in this park (cant remember which loop) The park does not open until the end of April..which means that we can not drive through the camping loops until then. We can walk through, so when we get nice weekend weather, Walt and I will check them out for you. Keep in mind that if you are going to reserve now, it is windy off Lake Erie...something to keep in mind if you wanted a prime waterfront site.

I think since I've never been there before, I'll let someone else make the call. What Candace said to keep in mind was how windy it is or could be near the lake front sites. Also the lake front ones or any others in that loop will fill up quicker. So this gives us time to decide what we want to do. I like Candace's idea about her visiting there to scout out sites. I always like to try out new places. At this time how many are interested in going here??? Did you hear that the state of Ohio "X"ed the plan for that extra fee (Pride Pass). I'm glad they came to their senses and found $$$ elsewhere.

If there is a choice in loops where distance from the lake is a factor, then I vote with my kids in mind to be further from the lake.

If there is a choice of areas where distance from a bathhouse is a factor, well then I vote with my bladder in mind to be close to a bathouse.

Well, George the inter-loop (43-84) looks according to the map on ReserveAmerica to be closer to the showerhouse and restrooms. And it has many more sites, I think all with electric service.

We camped there several years ago, and it was beautiful. NYS campgrounds over on the East of NY, don't have electricity, so it was sad to see the TV sitting on the counter, knowing the cord to it was still at home LOL. We were very impressed with this campground.
