Bob,

We'd never neglect ya'll on purpose

This thread is so long I plumb forgot your post about the breakfast sandwiches and margaritas. Those sauge sandwiches will be good so we can get going early each day.

I also neglected to mention Jmm and Jay too who offered to bring some cold beer each nite.

Being Boomers - we'll eat good and might even have a drink or two as well.

...margaritas?.....hummmmmmm- WHEN CAN WE GO??
I've got a bucket of margaritas too..just need to get the juice for it and it'll be ready! Of course I don't have a freezer large enough for the bucket, but I got it anyway!

I can pick up a batch of pastries to add to Rupps JD sausage sandwiches! I'm sure none of us will go hungry.

My main concern is getting Kristi UP before roll out time...but then I remember she can sleep while Bob drives new new RV!!! We'll see her about noon!

Hey Doc - I just saw your friend last Saturday night!

You'll have to stop by my rig some lazy afternoon at National and see my Texas Sized Margarita glass!

Jim, would it be possible for ya'll to stop in Big Spring and give us a call? There are a couple of things I think ya'll might be interested in seeing. If not coming through maybe coming back.

Jerry; My in -laws are going to travel along with us, and the schedule for the convoy doesn't leave to much free time, so on the way out probably won't work. We are coming back along 80 because we will be visiting family in Chicago. Sorry. My wife lived there when she was a kid, her dad was stationed there. What is there to see?

Don: Think I should place a rubber Ducky on the hood or dash?

Actually W5IT, I was thinking of the classic Jerry Reed song....with a little twist!

Eastbound and down - loaded up and truckin'
We're gonna do what they say can't be done!

We've got a long way to go and a short time to get there
We're eastbound, just watch those Boomers run!

Jim, The 2 things I would like for ya'll to see are the Big Spring Vietnam Memorial and Hangar 25 on the old air base where Cheri's dad was stationed.
Go to this website for the Vietnam Memotial: www.thebigspringvietnammemorial.org and I'm not sure but I think there is a link to go to the Hangar 25 website.

Yep, that one would fit too Sandy! I am SURE there will be a FEW cases of "Shiner Bock" in that "Convoy".
