HOW DOES THE WEEKEND OF OCTOBER 5TH OF 12TH SOUND FOR EVERYONE AT POCHES IN BREAUX BRIDGE, ABOUT 20 MINUTES from Lafayette..... I am calling to reserve some sites for us ... It appears that we have about 5 interested... a start.

I have been following this discussion until a definite date has been selected and this date would work for us. This would be a good test for crossing over the d*** bridge at Baton Rouge for the first time. All of my trips so far has been to the East of our home.

As we have had much interest in starting a Club for the South Central Area, LOUISIANA, I have booked for our first Club Meeting/Rally. This is made for the Weekend of October 11th, October 12th 2 nights, Where: POCHES FISH N CAMP 337-332-0326. I booked 5 sites, but can get more if needed.

Please call as early as you can so we can add additional sites.

I found a lunch place not far from Poche's. The name is Gloria's I will stop by there on my way to the camp.

On a side note tomorrow I bring in my Honda Accord to get set for towing.

We most likely will not be able to make this trip. My niece will be getting married in October and right now the date is up in the air. She does not even know she will be asked yet. This is to be done when she and her future fiance will be in Paris next week. October is the only choice being her sister (husband is in the Air Force stationed in Britain) will be back home that month. The wedding will be about 12 hours drive away from us in NW Arkansas.

Sunday morning suggestion will be breakfast at Cafe Des Amis. ... Very different Fun , good food and Zydeco Band and dancing ....breakfast till lunch.

We love Cafe Des Amis. Fun place but probably would have trouble parking the Coach there. Good thing I now can tow a car.

I am going this next weekend to Fountainebleau State Park. Trying to get a sight tomorrow morning reserved. We are looking forward to the gathering and will mention it to some of our friends.
