Thought I would let you all that knew My Shamrock that we lost him last week. It was fast and most unexpected. He was only 5 years old and those that know parrots know they are very long lived. For him to die before he really reached "toddler hood" was a great shock to both Chuck and I. I will be renaming our rig now as having only one little bird left doesn't jive with a "zoo." Keep us in your thoughts.
Thanks Maggie & Chuck

Maggie,
Sorry to hear of your loss, they get to be just like children (sometimes I think better) to us and seem to understand.

All the best to you and Chuck-------

Chuck and Maggie -

You are certainly in our thoughts and hearts in trying to deal with an unexpected loss of a beloved pet. It's never easy and there aren't any words to help make it better for you other than to know we care. We've all been there at one time or another and we'll face it again and again because we choose to allow a creature to become attached to our family. That's how we are.

It doesn't matter if it's a four legged pet or a beaked, two legged pet - they have our heart and a big part of our lives.

Rusty and I grieve with you.

luv
Sandy
