I now know the true origin of the Texas Boomer Name. Seems every time we have a rally, it creates the dangdest thunder boomers imaginable. So that other story we have been telling folks is a myth and the true meaning is out of the closet !

Wow what a storm - and I thought the one at the Kerrville rally was bad. Even with the hail, it came nowhere close to the one ladt night.

PS: Pat and I made it home about 6PM on 4 tires and no trouble. Had a wonderful time as usual !

THUNDER BOOMER IS RIGHT, We really got a shake,
rattle and thank goodness not a roll
We are parked at Paradize Lake RV Park in
Nacogooches, got here about 4:30. We will take
off in the morning and go on to the house.
Glad you didn't have any more tire problems.
We had a great time too. Madame Boomer is really a fun person to be around isn't she.
Heinz says she is a card
See you and Pat this weekend.

Sounds like Madame Boomer has really got the knack for getting the best Texas weather possible. I guess she is trying to make the Okies feel more at home with the crazy spring weather. Heinz, you and Betty should have stayed in nice safe Oklahoma where we had 77 dF days, nice blue skies and gentle spring breezes.

When you head north just leave the bad weather south of the Red River.

See ya'll next weekend.

Ken

Don and Pat -
Glad to see ya'll made it home with 4 tires! You created your own explosion that had nothing to do with the weather!!!

Heinz and Betty -
Ya'll are WELCOME to come back down to Texas anytime you can. I so enjoyed meeting you both and look forward to the 5th Anniversary Celebration in Burleson in September to see you again!

Ken -
We've decided to go into the RAIN MAKING BUSINESS! I'll call an RV park and ask if they need rain...if they'll let the Texas Boomers come in free for the weekend, we'll bring the rain! WOW! What a weekend! I guess I need to get on my knees more to pray for NICE weather for upcoming rallies!
