I guess I should have included Virginia. Most of our group is in western North Carolina and I was wondering how many on the east and we have a rally, but as ever anybody welcome. I am not sure on the when or where. Maybe a Myrtle Beach sometime before it gets too cold. Maybe just a pot luck dinner or two.

Tom and Diane, we managed to get a long weekend and headed down to Hunting Island. It was a great as it was a couple of years ago at the rally. They have pumped sand back up on the beach and built a sort of barrier shelf to protect it. I suspect a storm with sustained winds might undo what they have done, but it is much better than when we were all there.
Raccoons were very bold and took a container of potato salad from the table beside of Carol. She didn't even know he was sitting on the bench beside her until he snatched the plastic box and knocked off a pan beside it. Sorta got the campfire in a minor uproar for a few minutes.

Doc glad to hear you and Carol got out for awhile. Since we didn't camp at backyard rally we took off after the dust had settled. We stayed 3 nights at Killens Pond State Park campground in De. and are now in Charlottesville,Va at the KOA for 3 days. The foliage up this way is really pretty!

Hi Bob ... for a while you were spending more time in Wilmington than us residents! Glad things have finally straightened out for you. I had planned to stop at Howard's service dept. tomorrow, so might see you there.

We are in Raleigh. Would be fun...count us in. We do Myrtle several times a year, Emerald Isle, occasional Virginia Beach too. Considering seasonal site at Twin Lakes near Greenville if any experience/comments, let me have them

We are in Camden, across the river from Elizabeth City and 45 miles south of Norfolk/Virginia Beach Va. We are always interested in irv2 rallys. I know you are on your big anniversary trip and am jealous as all get out .
We did however find time to get a late reservation in Florida for the month of Feb. Near Ocala. Well lets just say the wife (me) made an executive decision, paid for the reservation, then told the husband. After all I did not want him to worry about the little details.
